Vann Walke

Vann Walke is Executive Vice President and General Manager. In this role he directs all New Jersey-based company operations, strategic planning, budget development and personnel oversight.

 

Vann has held various leadership positions in the company since 2004, serving both with the client facing organization in DC and as the head of software development in NJ. Vann's achievements include the introduction of agile development practices, the management of a significant growth in research and development, and the development of production and field support capabilities. He was instrumental in the software development group's organizational growth, helping establish a structure capable of supporting the company's rapidly expanding business opportunities.

 

Vann is a 1994 graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he majored in Computer Science and was named a Trident Scholar. Subsequently, he attended the University of Texas at Austin receiving a Master of Arts in Computer Science. Vann's Naval career included training in the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program and service on the attack submarine, USS Hawkbill. He completed his service time teaching Computer Science at the Naval Academy. In 2002, Vann worked for Presearch Incorporated, where he was the lead engineer building high performance Linux clusters as the back-end processing for sonar training simulators. Vann holds an MBA from Columbia University.
